MortgagePrep is sold by [TODO for Kevin: seller's legal company name]. We sell one-off access passes to a digital study service. This policy explains how payments, cancellation and refunds work. It does not affect your statutory rights.
Each pass is a one-off payment in pounds sterling, including UK VAT at 20%, that unlocks full access for a fixed period (3 months, or 18 months on the Until-you-qualify pass). There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. Your dashboard shows the exact expiry date.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 normally give you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that right ends once access starts, but only if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing the right (regulation 37).
Before you pay, you tick a box on the pricing page that reads: "I want my pass to start immediately, and I understand that once it starts I lose my 14-day right to cancel." The email we send when your pass starts confirms it. If you were not asked, or we did not confirm it, you can still cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
If you ask within 14 days of payment and have answered fewer than 20% of the questions in the bank, we refund the full amount, even though you agreed to start access straight away. Only questions you answer after you pay count towards the 20%; questions you answered on the free plan before buying do not. A refund ends your access. If the service is faulty or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 whatever this policy says.
Pass promise: on the Until-you-qualify pass, fail a unit while your pass is active and we add 6 months, free. To claim, send us your Walbrook result notice for the unit through the feedback form or by email within 30 days of the result. We add 6 months to your pass, free, each time you fail a unit while it is active. The promise does not apply to the 3-month pass.
The promise extends your access; it is not a cash refund and does not guarantee a pass.
If you were charged in error or more than once, contact us and we will correct genuine errors promptly.
Use our feedback form or email support@example.com from the address on your account, with the date of payment. We aim to reply within two working days.
